About Us
Sunny Day
Shorthorns (SDS) is a family owned and operated cattle ranch. We
specialize in quality show cattle. Our cattle have the right genetics to
start a new herd or to improve an existing one. SDS has been
in the business since 1967 for over 40 years and what started as a 4-H project has matured
into a healthy enterprise. If you are in the market for a show steer, we have
the one you've been looking for. If you need a heifer, try out our proven
genetics. Our cattle are located in Merced County at our ranch that has
been in the family for four generations, outside of Atwater. They winter graze in the hills above Madera, CA in
Raymond.
All SDS
cattle are registered with the American Shorthorn Association, one of the most
dynamic and innovative breed organizations in the United States with animal
records dating back to 1846. Visit
their website at http://www.shorthorn.org.

This website was among the first in the
industry. SunnyDayShorthorns.com was established in 2002. By 2006,
SunnyDayShorthorns.com boasted 75,000 visitors and averaged 300 hits per
day. SunnyDayShorthorns.com has been innovative since its inception.
It was the first to use the term e-Korral, the name it gave to its online
herd listing. In
addition, this website was honored with the Hot Site award from Cattle
Today as well as being featured as Stackyard Agrilinks premier site. In
2005, SunnyDayShorthorns.com, decided to separate itself from the showing
advice and shorthorn information that it was distributing.
ShorthornCattle.net was born. In 2006, at
4 years old, it was decided that all Sunny Day Web Group properties would be
unified under one brand name... Sunny Day Online. For
